Let me introduce you to my friend, @delphinejelk.

You may not know her by name, but if you’ve ever worn @guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noire, Mon Guerlain, or L’Homme Idéal, you know her work. And now, she’s the perfumer behind the new Shalimar L’Essence.

I’ve been such a fan of hers for so long. There’s something special about the way she creates. It feels so personal to me, like every fragrance she’s made was made “just for me.”

She has this gift of making me fall in love with notes I’d usually never wear, and transforming them into something wearable, elegant, and unmistakably ”her.”

For Shalimar’s 100th anniversary, Delphine has created something truly stunning. Shalimar L’Essence Eau de Parfum Intense returns to the heart of the original(that textured vanilla), and deepens it, intensifying the composition while preserving everything that makes Shalimar iconic.

Getting to sit next to her and catch up at the Shalimar centenary celebration was such an honor. She’s as gracious and brilliant as her fragrances, and I’m so proud to call her a friend.

Delphine is such a gift to the perfume world, and I’m so happy I had the honor of celebrating 100 years of Shalimar with both her and Guerlain.

Had the most intimate experience discovering Bottega Veneta’s new Mezzanotte collection, and I’m completely captivated. Getting to explore each fragrance through its key notes felt so personal—learning about the artistry behind how they’ve captured the mystery of midnight in three distinct ways.

Hinoki, Goodmorning Midnight, and Almost Dawn each tell their own story of the night, layering rich woods, unexpected florals, and gourmand notes.

One of them completely stole my heart, but I’m still testing.

I had the pleasure of co-hosting the Art of Italian Perfumery event with @itatradeagency and @esxenceofficial, and this event brought together some of Italy’s most uncompromising perfume houses—the ones operating outside the algorithm’s reach, crafting scents that demand your attention rather than beg for it.
